Nursing Live Scan Fingerprinting

​In Nevada, nurses are required to undergo fingerprint-based criminal background checks in the following instances:​

  1. Initial Licensure: All applicants seeking their first nursing license in Nevada must submit fingerprints as part of the application process. ​Nevada Nursing Board

  2. License Renewal: The Nevada State Board of Nursing mandates that renewal applicants undergo criminal background checks every five years or as directed by the Board.​

How to Get Your Nursing Fingerprinting

You'll just need a valid photo ID, and we'll provide you with a 

receipt and transaction number that you must provide to the Nursing Board.
